Hi, I'm just looking for any places that are still open in dublin city centre or on the north side near Drumcondra that have decent snooker tables.

    Thanks

    Hi
There are a few clubs scattered about Dublin, but only one real club and that has to be Cross Guns in Phibsboro.
It's been there 52 years and still retains the old school philosophy of being a real snooker club with snooker only, no arcade/ gaming machines, pool tables etc.
The walls are covered with some great photos of the many players professional and amateur who have played there.
There are seven full size tables which only got recovered in February, the tables are brushed and ironed and the club only recently held a RIBSA ranking tournament.
Can't recommend it enough, guy who owns it is a real snooker fan and historian.
    The website is
    www.crossgunssnookerclub.com

ill second that, been to cross guns a few times and it certainly is a good club. there is the classic in finglas which is a good snooker, i know its a good bit away from drumcondra buts its worth a visit.

ned kellys and dr quirkeys , o'connell street have a few tables. ned kellys is much improved and the tables are in decent condition

breaks in drumcondra used to be good before they sold all the tables.

where i live, there is the ALSAA sports club in swords, sportslink in santry have a few tables and there is the Westbury Club in Malahide which have 6 tables afaik but its very expensive to play there.

Tables are muck in that place in Malahide, they seemed to be more focused on the casino, rather than the snooker.

Joeys in harmonstown has 8 tables. Only reopened last year. Corssguns in Drumcondra is well known, not too far from Santry. There are a few tables in Terry Rogers in Fairview (have never been in it).
