Sounds more like aggravated murder than domestic violence to me.

You can bring up as many stories as you like about women beating up men as you like but the instances of men beating up women far outnumber them.

If you were to compare the conviction rates for women versus men, then there would be a huge disparity.
Man kills wife - he's an asshole
Woman kills husband - ah the poor thing, he must have been beating her

And in other news, it has just been reported that there are in fact two sides to every story. Shocking.

That doesn't make it less of a crime or more acceptable.

Somewhere around 1 man is beaten up for every 3 women beaten up.

I don't get the title, "Yet another woman...". Violence is gender-blind. Title sounds a little misogynistic to me...

    .

where did that interesting statistic come from?

I would expect 50 50 at least based on evidence of court convictions

Oh those women.... when will they realise that we just want the vote, the right to work after marriage and the same pay as they get.... why must they beat us so?

Seriously. Domestic violence exists. Men get beaten, women get beaten. This whole business of turning it into a thing that male victims of domestic abuse are somehow the most ignored victims on the planet is a bit sh*te to be honest.

Somehow if a man gets beaten it's worse than a woman receiving the same treatment?

No. No, it's not. Both crimes are equally reprehensible.

    Are you trolling?

Your title "yet another woman in court for domestic violence" (orly a woman in court for domestic violence who'da thunk it????:rolleyes::rolleyes:)

And the way you go on to provide a short list of (famous) female perpetrators give the impression that it's rare for women to commit domestic violence.

   .

That's typical of society's attitude towards men who are victims of domestic violence - make jokes or laugh about it.

I've had a brother suffer at the hands of an evil psychopath, believe me it's not funny what my parents and I had to go through.

I'm pretty sure that the same joke has been made about female victims of domestic violence.

OR some other people might even refer to my comment as a joke. Strange, I know, humour in AH.

Please take note, up for anything:D

What I said was my parents and I didn't find it funny. Anyway, we were there for him and he is now happily married to a lovely girl.

Well then isn't he a winner?

Hate to sound harsh but until he came to the conclusion that she was a complete waste of space then there wasn't much you or your parents could do.
But ye were probably very good to him when he did make the break & needed support.

    See? I'm not that heartless!
