Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I don't think Vanessa is a one trick pony, she's a soprano & it's hard to get her sing something that isn't that style! Should they do "Rock week" or "Abba week" like they do on X Factor? No because very few people sing every style well! Vanessa is fantastic at what she does, Nessun Dorma is not an easy song to sing!

    Anybody know whether the public vote decides the eventual winner, or will the judges get a say?
    Could end up with Bressie having to kick out either Pat or Conor next week,if the show continues according to previous weeks.

    Why ? - he's a singer songwriter- that's what he does well.
    At least this way,he gets to sing a song he knows is suited to his voice.

    I think Brendan's strength was always his Songs rather than his Singing ability.

    I agree, he is not a particuarly good singer.

    Agreed, he's a lovely guy and all that and maybe a good songwriter although I wouldnt base his ability on that song alone! But he's not a very good singer
