Already joined but curious to know when league entry is closed as there is always the possibility of people joining late who are doing well to trump others in the league.

If your not in by Saturday then you can't join. Back again this year

I'll lodge the money to the bank account today, I'm not set up for paypal:o and my wife seems to think this is controlled by the Russian mafia or some Nigerian prince.
So I lodge the money and then join the league?? Do I need to use some reference???

If you do a bank transfer just put the transfer reference as "FPL-Team Name" replacing with your name. Should be straight forward for Paul to identify the payment then.

Going to target the H2H as it is a good opportunity to win even though I may not be as good as some in it.

Last year I started outside the top 50 I think and ended up winning it, this year I'm 3rd so will inevitably end outside the top 50.

Lads, just back from Portugal, prize pot is now 53 eurs after 10 days in the sun

Joint 4th in the league. If the last three seasons are anything to go by I'll spend most of the year in the money places then drop down to 6th/7th in the last few GW's! Almost €1,800 in the pool, not bad.

Top monthly scorer ( calendar month with exception of aug /sep and april / may combined ) - 90 euro

Highest gameweek score of season - 70

Leaves overall prizepool of 1,000
(Overall )
Winner - 450
Second - 250
Third - 160
Fourth - 90
Fifth - 50

Thanks as always for running this Mrwillbeback, just some feedback for next year though. A first place prize of 450 out of a prizepool of 1800 is a bit on the low side imo. The monthly prize should be reduced and the top prize increased net season I feel. Make winning the league much more beefy. I'd personally reduce the monthly prize to the equivalent of the entry fee. % wise the amount taken out from the final standings prizepool for the monthly prize and highest gameweek total is far too high at 45% of the total

Happy to go with majority rule on this one, do you want me to reduce monthly to 50 euro and beef up the final pot?

If so, thank this post and remove thanks from the other one above - will amend by Friday night if people want me to.....

Definitely agree, €450 is far too low for winning imo... I would propose something along the lines of the below:

Top monthly scorer - €40 (x9)
Highest gameweek score of season - €50

Winner - €600
Second - €350
Third - €220
Fourth - €130
Fifth - €70

Happy to go with this. Was going to suggest a 1,000 for the person who finished in 43rd place after gameweek one but I understand that not all are in favour

This is what we will go with. I know some people don't like monthly / weekly prize but I think it's important to keep all who enter interested til the last gameweek.
