getting a manager??

    hey,does anyone know any management companys,that look to manage bands?cause our band is on a dry spell with gigs at the min and we think a manager would help us get more gigs and stuff

    a manager worth his/her salt will look for a band already out there booking their own gigs and managing themselves.

    Bands normally only take on a manager (managers cost money dont forget as they take a percentage) when they have too much going on to handle and need someone else to offload the work to.

    if thats why you want a manager then you don't need a manager what you need is a booking agent (for example: http://www.theagencygroup.com/ )
