World Cup of Poker - Heads Up Comp - Sunday 15th June - €1,000 Guaranteed for 1st

    To Kick off the opening weekend of the World Cup we are running a €60 Heads-Up Competition with €1,000 Guaranteed for the winner.

    In the same format of the FIFA World Cup, with 8 Groups of x players each playing each other twice.

    2 Wins = 3 points
    A win and a loss = 1 point

    Top two players from each group progress to the knock-out stages.

    Round 2 & Quarter Final will be Best of 3
    Semi Final & Final Best of 5

    3K for all Round 1 Matches and 5K Chips for all Knock-Out Matches
    15 Min Blinds

    We will be showing all the World Cup matches on our Big Screens

    5pm - Group E: Switzerland v Ecuador
    8pm - Group E: France v Honduras
    11pm - Group F: Agrentina v Bosnia

    1. Who is running the event (organisation, society etc) – Village Green CC, Tallaght
    2. The purpose of the event (charity, commercial etc) - commercial
    3. Date – Sunday 15th June'14
    4. Location – Village Green Card Club, Tallaght
    5. Any guaranteed prize pool - €1,000 Guaranteed 1st Prize
    6. Registration and Start time of event – Reg 3pm, Game 4pm
    7. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc) - New playesr must become members first. Id is required
    8. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc) – no max, at the door
    9. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc) – NLHE Heads-Up
    10. Cost of entry - €60
    11. How much of the entry fee is made up of registration fee - €10
    12. If a rebuy, cost of rebuys/top-up – NO
    13. How many and what duration are rebuys available – n/a
    14. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into prize fund – all the €50's
    15. How many places being paid – €1,000 Guaranteed for with Runner-Up and Semi Finalist getting paid subject to numbers.
    16. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much – No
    17. Any tickets for future events given out as prizes. If so, how many – See rule 16
