My girlfriend and i had a meal at the Terrace Restaurant on Saturday nite in the City West Hotel, we didnt have a reservation and could count ourselves lucky to have gotten a table @ 9.30pm but thankfully we did..ive got to say this is one of the best Restaurants ive dined in this country and she thought the same,the surroundings are extremly nice,the clientele are be fairly well to do,we skipped starters and went for the main course,in the 20 mins we waited for our food to arrive the very attentive waiter/waitress made sure we werent left hungry giving us a selection of breads,etc,etc..when the food arrived the presentation was fantastic and the actual food even better,i opted for the selection of Wicklow lamb, she opted for the seabass i think,what can i say except absolute quality and the wine was also fantastic,we then had desserts and coffee to round the evening off and we were provided with some beautiful chocolates (or what looked like chocolates ) its not cheap but it was a treat for us, but it comes highly recomended if your looking to dine in a classy Restaurant in elegant surroundings then i would recomend this place for sure,we will most certainly be back another time.
