Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

im not sure if you are correct,

the reason it's three years in UCC is that there is no co-op placement in UCC,

i am open to correction !

whats the difference between an ordinary one and a honours one?
can i continue the 3 year one if i need to into an honours degree?

No thats wrong, the 3 year degree is an honours degree. UCC dont level 7s. Its the same with History, its 3 years in UCC and 4 in Trinity but both are honours degrees.

    :)

yeah arts if def an honours degree and it is three years.. its the same with early childhood education too. i think the duration sometimes depends on the content also.

And how many years to learn the correct use of the apostrophe s :P

so it can be less time consuming and less costly to do it in UCC?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 606 ✭✭✭captainspeckle

just because it is shorter does not mean that it will be cheaper, it depends on what you want to do with your degree afterwards. i.e. post grads etc.. what do you plan on doing with your degreee once you are finished?

Sorry but it is a real bugbear of mine and to see it on a University forum just makes it worse

Trinity College is entirely different to all other universities in Ireland - it's degree structure is Freshman years 1 and 2, Sophister years 3 and 4.

For anyone wishing to know more I would suggest checking the wikipeadia links below and also the Trinity website - www.tcd.ie/
