Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

looking forward to this again - rode it 2010/2011/2012, it's a great route, really enjoyed the day out.
deadly food stop in Lisdoon as well

2013 goal is to last with the leading group up over that big hill near the end (has an odd name but can't remember it now). got 'slightly' :o left behind on it each time, but I'll be back from Tour of Flanders next weekend, and with that in my legs I'm thinking I should be flying up the hill after that!!

Its called "The Hand" because shortly after the top five roads come together. If you go to

    http://www.ennis.dolmencc.com/strava-segments

and scroll down you see a strava map showing a profile of it and the coming together of the roads

Just in case people are been scared off, pace wise the event is usually controlled as far as the food stop in Lisdoonvarna.

And it often remains very reasonable well beyond there.
