He has been on Irish TV alot recently, he was on with Tubs a few months back. He is probably the most interesting guest on the show tonight but I think we have heard it all before.

Yeah he was Mrs D.. Not sure what extra we have to learn from him...

And why does Miriam always look like she's arrived at a surpise party thrown for her..?

Just googled Mat Fraser there, he seems like an interesting man who hasn't let his disability hold him back. He might be an interesting guest :)

I'd say Alastair Campbell would make a very interesting dinner guest. He is an unusual character but I must admit there is something about him I find very intriguing.

Alastair Campbell is the inspiration for the magnificent Malcolm Tucker from "In The Thick of It".

They really should have a policy of not booking anyone who was on The Late Late Show or Brendan O'Connor in the previous year for Miriam's Show.

Mat Fraser could be interesting, he has had an interesting and varied life.

The rest of the line up is weak.

Given that Miriam actually "does" politics it might be a bit more interesting than Tubbs or the Corkonian.

I haven't seen this show myself but my husband loved it.

    Hi everyone:)

She was on the Hills, was expecting more of an airhead but seems fairly down to earth.

I agree, bit of an odd booking, although she seemed pleasant enough.

Wonder how the conversation in the Green Room went between Whitney and Alistair Campbell,

Miriam is over rated IMO, if it wasn't for her husband she probably would not have this show.

I don't agree, to be honest.

She's a good broadcaster, always does a good show with what she's given, although she's much better doing Current Affairs.

IMO she is a female version of Pat Kenny. Pat got a lot of stick while he was presenting the LLS because he found light entertainment a bit of a challenge but he was great at everything else, Tubs can't even get the basics right.
