Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So any of you rail boffins know the ins and outs of the engineering works going on this BH weekend from Pearse - Malahide / Howth?

I'm interested to know what all those unusual looking yellow mahines on the line lately will be doing.

they're rail lifters & layers, tampers, inspection vehicle and the like. the bulk of the works are to do with resignalling to the new system to increase train capacity through the CC area from 12 to 20 trains per hour per direction.

I think they were relaying the track on the Loop Line yesterday. Saw some track panels stacked up on the bridge near Liberty Hall.
