Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I recently had a burst pipe and had the insurance asessors in Friday. Said I needed a plumbers report to determine the root cause of the pipe. I intend to get a loss adjustor in to help me with the claim...can they do the report instead?

Sounds like insurance company requires a professional / qualified persons report so all is above board for their files, unless loss adjuster is a qualified plumber I don't think insurance company will accept report.

You could also get your own private insurance accessor to valuate the cost of repair and let them deal with the insurance company!

Had a simular issue a few years ago, I used a loss adjuster firm in Sandyford called Balcombes 01 2950589 , they were brilliant and handled everything, their fee came out of the claim at the end and everything was above board.
