Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've seen some great looking ones online but I don't want to wait 2 weeks for delivery from the UK.
I'm looking for something like this:
    http://yaktrax.co.uk/yaktrax-shop/yaktrax-walker-pro/walker-black
    Amazon:http://tinyurl.com/25wfcbu

Does anyone know if any of the outdoors shops in the city centre have them or something similar in stock? I haven't had time to go in and look but I will make the time if I think they are there.

I bought YakTrax last week from Walker Healthcare in Galway, €25, which is as good as any price I've seen on line. They are brilliant, feel so safe walking on ice, better than I expected and I ended up buying more more for family. They will post them out and did not even charge for postage.

There is the Emerald Alpine place just off Parnell Street, They should do them - also try the camping store on Thomas Street and the hunting place down by the Market.

Thanks guys I spoke to Walker Healthcare on the phone and they will post a pair for €5. They obviously changed their policy since ingalway bought some. €30 is still a good price though.
