Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Router Questions

    Hello,

I have two problems which I am trying to solve.

    1) Xbox
I have efibre installed with the f1000 wireless box. I have an xbox which is too far awaw for a wired connection.

I set the F1000 as a base station and I got it to recognise the Netgear DGND3300(I think), which I set to be a repeater. It got to the point that I was told that repeating could only be done without security or WEP. I don't want wep unless I have to so I didn't go further. I'm sure I missed loads of things. I'd like to keep my wpa password, but it may not be possible with the F1000?

    2) Wifi Boost (most important)
At work, we have a wired connection and wifi. Wifi is poor, so I thought I could connect my old Talk Talk hg523 wireless router to a wall socket. I tested putting an Ethernet from my efibre to LAN1 of the Talk Talk and I was able to get internet when connecting LAN2 to my laptop. But, I can't get internet when connected to the Talk Talk wirelessly. (LAN1 still connected to efibre).

    Any ideas?

Many thanks all! I'm new to this kinda stuff.
