Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to find free sprites

    Think this is the right board.

    I'm looking for sites that have free sprites that you can use in your own games. I found a site or two already and i have taken some stuff from it. The images i'm looking are for a tile based strategy game, tanks, soldiers, aircraft etc. I have some aircraft and tanks but some variation would be nice.
    On my last search google gave me a few porn sites that matched my query :confused: not that i mind at all (bookmarked for later :D )

    If you want sprites from existing games I think that www.vgmuseum.com has a few sprites ripped from games.

    Also www.zophar.net has utilities for ripping sprites from old games.

    It's not much but hope it helps.

    also found this site. those types of sprites are exactly what i'm looking for. only thing is i'm gonna try to make an advance wars style game (as mentioned in my project proposal) so i don't think i should use the actual advance wars sprites.

    i better get back to looking again :(
