Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Replacement Digibox Wanted

    Lads,

    A friend of mine's DIGIBOX has given up the ghost. Tuner problem. It was originally second hand and he has had it for three years.He wants a replacement . Can anyone advise where to get best priced either new or used Digibox in Limerick Area. He's not into e-bay etc. He'd prefer to go to a shop or deal with someone direct...

    Does he have a subscription? reason I ask is sky might do something for him if he threatens to cancel. You should look to pay around 179 euro, pace box is best available at present IMHO

    Tony,this is the guys second digibox which is used with a FTV card. Is the Digibox for 179 euro brand new and if so where would you get one?

    There's a list of suppliers on the sticky thread here (including Tony's www.satellite.ie) and judging by the price list on the site I've mentioned it would indeed be a new Pace Cobra box at 179 (could always transfer his sub to that nice shiny box after and use his FTV card on the old first box).

    If he's currently using that box with his FTV card Sky don't have a relationship with that box so won't do anything for him. He could always ring them, transfer his sub to that box and then try it a few weeks later but that's stringing himself along for a while with no guaranteed result.
