    Hi all,

Started a new Job in the Waterloo road area and live in Sallins. Got the train to Heuston this morning and 67x to Waterloo road which was grand, but getting buses back to Heuston this eve was a nightmare.

Would appreciate any advice on a better plan of action if someone could be so kind.

    Many thanks

    Paul.

What was your experience of returning to Heuston?

Maybe you could try catching a 145 from nearby Leeson Street to Heuston (and vice versa) ?

Are there any Dublin Bikes near Waterloo Road? If you could get yourself to the red Luas line (max 10 mins on a bike), that'll get you back to Heuston at rush hour much faster than a bus. Evening rush hour in Dublin can be a disaster.

ETA just across Baggot St. bridge there's a DB station.

Got 39a from waterloo road to Suffolk street. Dublin bus app went nuts then and the 145 appeared to b no longer there so had to walk to the quays and get the 145 there which was due 3 times before eventually arriving about 20 mins or more after it was 'due' first!
