Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I recently found an excellent cross platform security alert mailing list on www.sintelli.com

Now I only use this one intead of various vendor specific (although I do check websites sometimes) security alert lists.

If you do subscribe be prepared for about 6+ messages per day in HTML!

Does anyone know of any better ones?

The HTML only bit makes it a bit useless for me.

There's a Danish one run from secunia.com that fits that sort of bill. Not very high volume, and you'll get the advisory within about a day or so.

For the more self-reliant user or company, vulnwatch and bugtraq are still good places to watch, and a lot of vendors are posting to full-disclosure, although you'll have a lot of noise to filter through.
