Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Oh jebus, so you are saying there are not many people from dublin go to maynooth? I was hoping that there would be some sort of colony of dubbish people. I've never been a fan of moving outside dublin, i have no problem with people from outside dublin obviously but after my degree i would kind of hope to have my friends back in dublin.

    The sacrifices one must make...

Ah there's a few Dubs here too....just way more culchies.

Just got a load of PM's from some guy who's apparently a body builder called Mario asking me if I'm okay, and telling me that there's nothing wrong with not findng someone to go out with. Apparently he got me confused with blondie81 - damn near identical log-in names!

    Of course! ;)

Ah it's just annoying you know....I love Dublin and can't exactly go out pubbing and clubbing on my own. Damn these students out here, typical culchies that hate everything Dublin.

Tut..Tut..easy knowing you haven't lived elsewhere! Dublin is a piddly little city one third of the size of Birmingham and the smallest capital in the EU. It's only big to people who have never lived anywher bigger. In comparision to cities like New York, Dublin IS the country. No wonder you have no one to hang out with. Open your mind a bit.

Not looking for lifelong friends (though if that happened it'd be great), but just people around my age (23) to go socialising with.....have the craic with etc...it's so hard to meet people in Dublin and it's a shame cause I love going out in the city when I rarely get the chance to. Anyone got any ideas? Would just love to go out on a Saturday night with a bunch of girls my own age and dance my feet off and have some fun. I'm in college outside the city and none of my friends here dare venture in to the big smoke so it's hard to find people to go out in town with.

Hey there! Im moving back to Dublin next week and I am looking for some new friends! Pm and I'll give ya my number! :P

I'm not too sure if you're still looking for someone to go for a few bevies and maybe have a good chat but, I would love to do so. I'm just here from Canada for about a month, working at UCD, and it's definitely hard to find people my age to go and relax with. SO, if you're interested just drop me a line. take care : )
