Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Intelligentsia were good last time and they gave us free delivery.

Blue Bottle are good too, though I'd be be happy with any roaster really.

Question is does anyone have a contact we can use to get a good deal?

By the way, how do you know of a greek roaster?

Sorry but have to ask a few dim questions here.
I have a Bailies sub and grind my own.

What are we talking about here in group buy? Is it green beans that we get roasted ourselves and what (obviously down to individuals) kind of weights are we talking about?
Cheers lads but it intrigues me about "group buys"

We pick a roaster from another country that has a good reputation but that people would not normally be able to order from because of the delivery cost.

We then each order some bags of roasted coffee from them and get them delivered to one address, hopefully getting a bit of a discount for the bulk order. So pretty much the same as your Bailies sub, but just get to try coffee from a different roaster.

I've had a response from Koppi. Would people be happy to go with them?

I sent out mails to Blue bottle and coffee collective also but no response.

    Any other suggestions?

Koppi said they would give us retail prices. Delivery would be about 20-30 Euro.

    Would love Koppi!

    Working & order added.

What way do you want to arrange payment. I know from doing a Boards cycling kit order before it ended up costing me as I left payment until collection. Do you want payment first?

Ah just from research and reading blogs, seen it named a good few times. Follow them on social media.

Thanks for organizing Adrian. Added in my request. It does mention on the price list that it's a minimum 3kg order per coffee, so we may need to do some consolidating!

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 16,139 Mod ✭✭✭✭adrian522

I'd say we'll be fine on that score, we'll see what we end up with but if we are short on any coffee I'd say they will accommodate us as we are not really a corporate order.
