Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,

Just wondering if you could recommend a good backpack for a macbook pro 15 inch.

    Thanks

I use this Wenger bag from Currys for my macbook pro 15:

Expensive, but worth every penny. It's well made, has a special "swiss guard" branded compartment for the laptop, and loads of room to boot. Well made, comfortable and rain resistant.

Id highly recommend this bag from Ikea: http://m.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/art/60228788/

The two sections are super handy, it's really well padded and it fits my 13" laptop with a bit spare so I'd say a 15" would be fine. They're really well made.

Whatever bag you look for, getting one with a lifetime warranty almost guarantees it's well-made.

    I've a Goruck GR1 but it's probably overkill.

I bought a Slappa laptop bag over 10 years ago and it has served me well. My reason for purchase was it's made from scuba gear, so getting caught in torrential rain was never a concern when cycling from Cabra to Dundrum for work.

There's a bag shop in the Ilac shopping centre selling HP branded laptop backpacks for €35. My son got one last week and is more than happy with it.

TKmax is also worth a visit, they can have some real bargains at times.
