Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,
I am currently looking at buying a 4k TV, deliberating on size 48" up to 55".
    The room is 5.6m x 4.2m (L x W).

What TV size would you recommend. Is a 55" too big for this space. The TV will be in the corner on a Stand.

I was just asking myself the same question.
I found this article on CNET -
    http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-big-a-tv-should-i-buy/

Basically they say as big as you can get !
THX recommend that if you are sitting around 9ft from the TV then a 90 inch TV is ideal !!
SMPTE (whoever they are) recommend for the same distance a tv of around 68 inches.
That's some big expensive TV's. I was looking at a 55" myself, as they seem to be the sweet spot between size and price.
Out of interest, do you have a particular TV in mind?

I was thing the Samsung 6800 series, you can get in 50 or 55.
I am now leaning towards a 50 or a 49 in some other models.
Feedback I am getiing at the moment from Currys & PCWorld is go with Samsung #1, LG #2 and Sony #3.
Matter of preference I guess but have to say I prefer the look of Samsung.
