    Where is this place? There's a giant ad on the Limerick Leader saying that a new cafe place, Jaffa's is opening beside "Breathe Shopping Centre on Henry Street.

    Afaik, the new cafe is opening in the old "Formative Fun" shop beside Jack FitzGerald's. It's good to see so many new places opening in town to give alternatives to going drinking, hopefully 2 or 3 will open as late night cafes.

    It's both a hotel development and a shopping centre development. It's a pretty big site for just one. Is it Marriott going in? Good to hear.

    Yes, its one building with hotel within the building, also there are 12 shop units, apartments and offices

    There has been rumours for over a year now of another new shopping development behind the savoy site, where the stella ballroom and myles breens pub currenty stand on Shannon street. There was talk that these 2 developments would be linked, with the shannon street development opening onto Bedford Row, that looks highly unlikely now with the savoy development motoring ahead! The Shannon street proposal(if it goes ahead) will now be a stand alone project!
