Does accounting get easier?

i'm in 5th year and i just started accounting and i find it so difficult. I cant understand anything? Im just wondering does it get easier overtime? I wasnt expecting it to be this difficult

You will begin to understand as you move on. Really the first month is just learning basics to Accounting and I was totally bewilded by all the jargon, but once we got to the application of said jargon I flew it and finished with the only A1 in our class of 12!

Once it clicks with you you're sorted. It's one of those subjects where if you work hard at it this year, you'll really see the benefits in 6th year
