    Hello all,

I'm sure you recall many moons ago that a car sticker was designed and a winning design was chosen. Who knew it would take 6 months to find a printer and get some bloody stickers made? :D

But, the good news is THEY'RE HERE!

You can buy one from our Adverts.ie Shop for the sum of €2.50 which includes postage to anywhere in Ireland (it's a little more for European and Worldwide delivery - sorry about that).

I'm really sorry it took this long, but the first batch we got done weren't right and we didn't feel like we could sell them, so we had to go back to the start of the process again and it took a while.

Folks, Paypal is looking to charge VAT on the stickers which as far as I'm concerned shouldn't be happening at all, so the final price is being increased by them. I'm talking to the Adverts team to try and sort this out, so if you want to hold off on ordering I'll update when I've got something sorted.

    [edit]
I've actually withdrawn it from sale till we sort this out.

    Ordered already :(

OK, I don't know what the problem with PayPal is or why they are claiming to be charging 21% VAT (given our VAT Rate hasn't been 21% for some time, I suspect serious shenanigans). I'm going to keep it offline whilst I wait for PayPal to explain themselves, but I don't expect to get an answer this evening.

OK, I've issued a refund to everyone until we can sort this out - I'm very sorry about the messing on this folks.

Will this sticker prevent me getting clamped and allow me to skip traffic queues similar to the Stonecutters club?

Dav, If PayPal are adding VAT then this is either being passed over to PayPal in the data from adverts.ie or its setup in the PayPal account profile.

I'll PM you my work email address if you need me to check it let me know.

They've been pulled from sale till the VAT issue is resolved. But likely to be Tuesday as no one in either office till then.

Ah cool ok, Thanks OSI. Thought I'd missed the boat!

I saw them up for sale yesterday evening at a lower price which worked out at 2.50 after vat? I originally ordered them at 3euro and got my refund but I have reordered one at the lower price. Are these going out or will I be refunded on that too?

This will be some serious self policing.

    - Some boardsie parked like an idiot
    - Some boardsie passed me like a loooon
    - The leisurely acceleration of that Boardsies car is quite frustrating.
    - Some boardsies car looks ruddy fanTASTIC :D

Return of the bad parking thread, with bonus points if you "get" a fellow boardsie?
    :P

When these do come back up for sale (he says with forced optimism) will they be available long term or will I need to stock up on them for all my future cars?:)

You should make some of those insurance / tax / NCT holders, too.

Cool design and a great price, but too big for my liking. Any chance of smaller sizes?

They're back and live for sale now, we're really sorry about all the messing. The price is listed at €2.07 because PayPal seems to be insisting on some tax being added on afterwards, so this will make the total price €2.50.
