Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Funny thing is you don't discover the eggs until they hatch out about 3 months later.

Oh man you guys are going to be so itchy!!

They are terrible, all you can taste is the chocolate. It's too strong. A small strip of chocolate down the middle would be much better and allow the different flavours equal chance to mix.

Mikados (aka spring-sprongs) should never be mixed with chocolate

btw, does anywhere still do the big tins of them at Crimbo?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,874 ✭✭✭✭PogMoThoin

Yep, I had my doubts but they're actually yummy.
There's no coconut shavings, more jam and thick chocolate, mmmmmm!!! I want one now.

I believe they still do. Saw them last year and i'll say they will be back on the shelves soon in their plastic tubs.

    Try Tesco or Centra.

Kimberly mikado biscuits are gay aren't they?

On the first ever episode of Podge & Rodge, the Mikado was voted the "Gayest Biscuit In Ireland" because of the "Spurt of jam between the fluffy cheeks". So there you go Chuck.

    These must be mine....

I hate chocolate Kimberlys, but I'd give Chocolate Mikados a go.... Although I like coconut and there's none in them apparently, so basically are they just like a marsh mallow tea cake with a bitta jam?

    Sounds delish! :pac:

If Mikado are the gayest biscuit in Ireland, what in all that is holy will chocolate Mikado's be voted for....?

Kimberly mikado biscuits are gay aren't they?

Only if you're a girl. Out of all biscuits on the market, Mikado most closely resemble a lady's parts. It can't possibly be gay for guys to eat them.

Ohh my god,,oh my god,,these things should be banned they are just to nice, thank god I only see them at xmas, otherwise I would be an obese diabetic because of their allure of absolute sweetness.

I think they put heroin in them. They are just so addictive.

thats ridiculous..not just a contender but an obvious outright winner of the title in the form of a "lemon puff"

ffs how do they get these things so wrong?

2.79 in tesco. Disappointed in them i have to say. The chocolate kimberly is a fantastic biscuit and turns a plain biscuit into something tasty as but the mikado is grand the way it is. Miss the coconut in the mikado.

Can buy a whole pack of normal mikados 16?/20? for 1.49 in tesco too. Defeats the purpose and need for the chocolate ones.

the purpose effect of the chocolate ones is to make the originals cheaper, I approve!
