Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Absolute war of attrition in midfield, it wont be 'beautiful'. Grind out the first half.
    Bellamy and Carroll to come on with 20 mins to go.

    Amazing the reaction here. Bellamy is one that people may complain about but other people have been calling for Kuyt instead of Carroll, and Carra is hardly a suprise.

    Obviously Kenny doesn't feel Coates is ready for a game like this.

    I don't see how Kenny could have picked a hugely different team with who's available.

    Midfield is what bothers me. Id rather see Adam and Henderson in the middle with Kuyt on the right and Carroll and Suarez up front.

    I'm not sure if Carragher playing will make all that much of a difference. He may get caught out once or twice but in general I don't think Arsenal will have a lot of space to play in as Liverpool will try to suffocate them whilst applying pressure.

    Liverpool to win or a draw, can't see Arsenal pulling off a win.

    That pool side will struggle to score i feel, I also feel RVP will tare strips out of Carra. I'll go for 2-1 to Arsenal. Liverpool will huff and puff but i don't think they have enough bite to win this one.

    Van Persie has scored about double that, I assume the Arsenal side overall has 3/4 times that.

    Kind of expected - Arsenal are a champions league side and are playing midweek while Liverpool have to rest players so their houses don't get broken into.

    Agree with you. I feel the hangover from Liverpool's fantastic Cup Final result coupled with Liverpool struggling at Anfield all season leads me to think an Arsenal win is on the cards, but you never know, should be a decent game.
