Is the motorway from Gort to Ennis open on Monday. It was closed for repairs on Friday anyway. One could travel from Ennis to Gort. The other side was closed

It's closed from Crusheen junction to Gort today. They have been closing sections in both directions for the last week or so.

I suspect it's to address issues of surface water ponding. I travel that road a few days a week and it has been quite dangerous when wet - there were warning signs on both sides last winter warning motorists of the danger when wet.

Hopefully they'll sort it once and for all now. It's been dangerous from the day it opened.
