    Favourite movies this year so far?

    I actually made list of all the films I've been to see this year. I've seen about 15 which is a lot for me, but anyway the best was City of God. That was back in Jan/Feb and it's stood the test.
    The Good Thief was also very good.

    pirates of the carribean

    and

    InterMission

    both genius films..

    obviously lotr the two towers as well...

    'Punch Drunk Love' is the only film I've seen this year which has had me leaving the cinema with a big smile on my face.

    Pirates of the caribbean.... the only other film i remember is T3, and it's good, but POtC is better.

    One more vote for 'City of God'.

    Only saw it on Friday, but was astounded.. Incredible movie..
    The documentary on the DVD is also particularly interesting..

    Though I never would've thought it at the beginning of the year. I had my eye on Matrix, T3 and Hulk - and they didn't deliver the goods.
