Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HP Pavillion DVD drive problem

I've got a HP Pavillion DVB6V laptop with a hp DVDRAM GT30L ATA blu ray dvd burner. Recently I've had problems reading disks. I can burn audio or video files but not read them. I've used Nero, windows media player and PowerISO. They all say the disk has been burnt successfully, but when I put it back in to read it, windows says 'what do you want to do with this disk ?' (i.e. as a cd/dvd or flash drive) Disks also won't read on other hardware, (dvd players, cd players etc)

I've burnt disks before and they can be read, I've looked online and can't really find any information that can give me a difinitive answer. I've reinstalled the drivers, updated them and still no joy. So anyone got any ideas or shall I just get a cheap external one ? (I don't really use my laptop portably)
