Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if anyone would know if there's any shops or special shops in Dublin for buying shaving gear. I'm looking for some nice badger hair brushes and a good DE Merkur razor.

I just ordered a Merkur Futur razor from classicshaving.com for $60 shipped. Should be a worthwhile investment. Will be looking for a brush around here too or if they're no cheaper will order one from shavemac.com :)

www.shavemyface.com has tons of info FYI

A decent barbers should sell these, I know the Warldorf sell brushs, not sure about rozors though.

Try either www.4men.ie (these could well be limited, but are based in Dublin, so you should get the stuff fast) or www.mankind.co.uk alternatively google it, there are a few companies based in the UK who sell these.

Have you used a cut throat though, appearently you need to put in alot of practice before you use them. (appearently barbers practice on balloons for quite a while before moving onto faces).

Go to the Waldorf Barber on Westmoreland Street. I picked up my Merkur HD there for €42 I believe it was. I'm sure they could also set you up with a good brush too.
