Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Of late we have been getting more and more threads where people are letting people know of a position / vacancy in a company or shop ect.

    Unfortunately we cannot allow threads such as these as they are in a way advertising. I've talked this over with Muffler and the C-mods and if we open up a thread whereby the forum regulars can post up job vacancies they see online or that they know of that may be of interest to someone here, they can use this thread to post it up in. But there will have to be some conditions to the thread.

    • Posters will not be allowed to sign up just to post the vacancy.
    • This is not a thread for discussion of a job or a company, it is purely for posting up job vacancies.
    • It's not a thread for people to say they are looking for a job in "x" industry.
    • Non spam posts only - The mods will use their discretion and delete posts as needs be.
