Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just finished the Irish trad guitar classes in Waltons.

I would like to meet with some people to practice jigs, slip jigs, hornpipes and watlz.

My two favouite songs are ride on and rocky road to dublin.

I would even meet with a beginer bodhran player just to push ourselves to improve.

    I am based in Dublin.

    Cool.

I am based in Contarf. I have a space here to practice.

At the moemnt I am just playing along to recorded tunes. Working on my sing along songs. I went to a trad session for the first time on wednesday. I waited an hour until I came across I tune I could along to.

    What can you play?

    Hi,

I play more folk songs and I sing. I'm in a folk band based in swords. I might hold you up as I don't really play along to tunes, I suppose I never really learned that end of it, however I really want to learn to accompany jigs etc. would it be worth it for you for us to still meet up?

    Regards keith

What folk songs do you play? Like Irish sing along songs?

I am only a beginer guitar player. I only just learned wild rover today.
