Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, going to the Cyclades this summer and want to purchase our ferry tickets.Has anyone purchased tickets online from the Blue Star Ferries website and then collected them in Piraeus before the boat departs?Blue Star dint mail out tickets in advance, you have to collect them when you get to Greece.Just wondering does this run smoothly in practice.
Travelling with kids so want as little hanging about/queuing as possible.
    Thanks.

I think there is an option to collect at the airport possibly, id recommend that.

I purchased tickets with Bluestar ferries (though not in Pireaus). It was hassle-free, tickets were waiting for us. But for your own piece of mind I would advise you to leave yourself a bit of time, just incase, as I'd imagine Pireaus will be a very busy place (even though you said you don't want to be hanging around too much with kids in tow).

We booked ours with http://www.greeka.com/ (not for Pireus though - Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini). We then picked up our tickets in the Blue Star office on Mykonos. No queuing necessary, just up to the desk with our booking email and they handed over the tickets.
