Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    BY MONDAY EVENING RTE SETTLED A THREATENED LIBEL ACTION.
    REMARKABLY FAST AND NOTHING LIKE
    THE PROCESS THAT VICTIMS OF THE ORGANISATION THEY DEFEND HAD TO
    GO THROUGH TO GET COMPENSATION FOR CHURCH AND STATE ABUSE AND NEGLIGENCE.
    I WOULD ASK THOSE WHO WERE COMPENSATED BY RTE DID THEY AT ANY TIME BEFORE THEY RANG THEIR LAWYERS AND THEY HAD TO MAKE THAT CALL, FOR ONE MOMENT THINK WHAT THEY WERE ABOUT TO DO WAS MORALLY WRONG?IF NOT THEN I PUT IT TO YOU SIRS THAT YOUR MORALS ARE WRONG AND YE ARE WRONG. DOES THAT THEN ALSO FOLLOW THAT RORY IS RIGHT? LETS FACE IT ITS IRELAND A HOMOPHOBES PARADISE.




    WHAT THE F### DID THEY THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN? RORY AND JOHN WATERS WERE GOING TO ANNOUNCE THEIR ETERNAL LOVE FOR EACH OTHER AND TELL THE NATION ABOUT THEIR PLANS TO ADOPT CHILDREN?
    THE IONA INSTITUE MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE A GOOD NAME BEFORE SATURDAY NITE IT CERTAINLY HAS NONE NOW.
    TO PARAPHRASE AN OLD RASTA SAYING :THERE IS NO NEED TO SLAY THE WICKED JUST LEAVE THEM TO A MICROPHONE AND THEY SHALL SURELY STICK IT WHERE JOHN WATERS WONT.

    My impression is that Panti Bliss has received a mainly positive reaction. The poll on the Iona Institute suggests that the majority think Iona is homophobic. Also many people think that RTE were too quick to capitulate. To me this does not suggest that Ireland is a "homophobic paradise". No doubt there are many homophobes but I hope the tide is against them. By the way stop shouting its hurting my eyes.

    Im going deaf and I have ear muffs and my tin foil hat on.
    The ol tin foil hat normally works but since the austerity the voices are getting louder and more demanding.
    Let alone have they ****ed us they want more more and more...PREHAPS JOHN WATERS CAN SAVE ME...TAXI , TO THE INSTITUE PLEASE.WHICH ONE? THE IONA OF COURSE
