Manual Squirrel,I know a lot of people have great things to say about the DSG but I think you'd want to be used to an auto trans before you try it.

I tried one with DSG but I just felt awkward in it and couldn't appreciate it.In 20 odd years driving I probably haven't driven 200 miles in an auto.

Good job, I'm quite a fan of the manual, the DSG is handy but doesn't beat clutch and H grate

I would post a pic of my bright blue fiat punto sporting ('03) but i wud feel a bit embarassed in the company of such fine cars (drools over golf GTi). Will definitely want to get one of them after i graduate and start earnin some cash. Whats the insurance like for a 22/23 yr old male, full license, no claims, etc...???

On a simliar note, i would post a pic of the ferrari f50 my dad owned for a brief period 2 yr back. Unfortunately it never saw any action on any kind of road and sat up in Charles Hurst showrooms in belfast until sold to some lucky sod :( The only pic i had was lost on my hard drive which died over the summer....i know without a photo of me totalling it in spectacular style on the M50 that my story will be dismissed as ludicrous fiction, but its the truth. Ah well, maybe someday might actually get to drive one:(

That's unbelievable on a car so desireable to thieves.
And oh DirkVoodoo you're not the only one....I'd post a pic of my '98 Escort only ....waaay too embarrassed. Wait til I graduate and get a good job though, then I will definately be buying something worthy of posting

Why? If you're proud of your car, show it. Personally, I like that colour of Punto.

    VIGGEN 03.jpg

IMG_0617.JPGA car's performance is a matter of its ability to do what you expect of it. It is a matter of having complete control of the car, whether you are winding through snaking switchbacks, overtaking another car on a freeway, or coming to a sudden stop in city traffic. With the high performance Saab 9-3 Viggen, that is exactly what you get.

In order to fully utilize the tremendous power delivered by the 2003 9-3 Viggen's 230 hp, 2.3 liter high output turbo engine, and still achieve superior road handling and driving characteristics, the 2003 9-3 Viggen was equipped with a specially developed sport chassis....ADS the SAAB VIGGEN MAN:v:

I've been looking over his previous posts and they're all full of sh1t. This guy was trying to arrange a Classic car meet-up in Roscommon and he supposidly has a Saab Vigen with a UK reg plate ?? As well as a 1966 Mustang .

I'd like to see a pic of him with his Vigen holding up a sign with his Boards.ie username on it. I bet that'll shut him up :p

While you may be right, this seems a bit harsh. People can own many cars. I know a guy with 18, all in excellent condition.
