Right lads I called corballis re a discount. It wasn't really possible due to the low prices already and because of the open on a Friday it's just a flat rate.

He said to keep an eye on the usual websites for discounts at different times.

Plus next Friday from 10 -12 there is an invitational on for anyone thinking of booking a society outing in corballis next year. So it may be busy or you may get a free round, depends on how you look at it.

I won't get a friday off in the run up to christmas but sat,sun & mon I'm available to play anywhere.

There is a fourball available on Teetimes.ie for €9 each in Corballis on the 12th.

Semi final is Group A Winner versus Group B Runner up
And Group B Winner versus Group A Runner up

So we are off - matches starting next Friday. Looking forward to this now - we will play matches like the good Links friends we are.

Good man Fix, it's all about the delegation on this for me

There are going to be some battles in Group B.
It will be hard for Pcasso and myself up against Fix "Corballis" dePitchmark and Golf "mr. match play" Graffix.

I'm available this Friday but I know Golfgraffix is away. We can arrange to play sometime over the next few weeks if you lads want to play Friday.

Sorry PARlance - didn't know you were around.

I was going to stick up a sequence of matches - but I don't think that is realistic ?

Again - if a spare man on day - go as a 3 ball anyway - for people to get to know each other.

sorry I have been of the radar for the last twenty four hours or so.
am I playing somebody next Friday. No bother if I haven't got a game. I will be back in the country this evening and will pm everyone then. In my favor I am quite familiar with Corballis but unfortunately going against me is the fact that I am a **** golfer. :-)

YOu need not worry - is a sort of home course for me - but making swing changes at presesnt - so the least """" golfer will win

€9 plus a euro booking fee of another 99 cent per player if that is alright with everyone else.
I have played Corballis in the snow before:eek:

Lads was out for a few hours this morning in that - unreal how cold - actually the coldest I ever was on a course.

Friday is due to be cooler - unless weather changes.
