Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What happens if I have a DC and a DB pension?

I have a DC pension from a previous employer that I can take at 50 (if I fully retire). I have a DB pension that is available at 66.

What is the situation if I retire at (say) 60? I've confused myself by thinking about this - can I take out an ARF and use the 25% tax free option from the DC, or do I have to operate on the rules of the DB scheme?

This whole setup is ridiculously complicated.

    Get proper advice.

The rules of the DB scheme won't affect your early retirement benefits from the DC scheme.
