HELP.... GTA4 on windows?

    Hi, Im after buying my first Laptop and was wondering if I could play GTA4 on it????????

    My Laptop Specs are;

    Brand: Packard Bell
    Model: Packard Bell Easy Note MH36-U300 Laptop
    Operating System: Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic
    Processor Type: Intel Pentium Processor T3400
    Graphics card: Intel GMA 4500M
    Hard disk capacity: 320GB
    RAM capacity: 2GB
    Speed: 2.16 GHz
    Screen size: 15.4”


    The windows website the minimum requirements to run the game are:

    god no, your laptop would most likely blow up if you tried to run it. GTAIV is a greedy pig of a game. I can barely play it and I have a good desktop. One thing you need above all else is a quad-core for GTA, after that a good graphics card is essential.

    Your video card isn't up to the task for most games, and GTA4 being a terribly optomised game on pc means even on high end hardware it runs poorly, you could play the previous titles like san andreas, vice city etc on that machine no problem, but not 4

    So basically my lap top is ****!! Is the INTEL PENTIUM PROCESSOR T3400 any good? where does rank in comparrison to other intel processors? such as the INTEL CORE 2 DUO?? is there a list of best to worst INTEL PROCESSORS available?

    No, its not crap, Laptops arn't designed for gaming, the ones that are can be very expensive, also laptop video cards generally arn't upgradeable like pc ones, thats why most pc gamers use desktops over laptops for gaming, processor means little for gaming, its the video card which is important, your machine has integrated video which works grand for generaly use, playing dvds, etc... It isn't designed for gaming, integrated video cards will generally only support older games, as they do not have all the features dedicated ones have,
