Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    LoL

I came on the forum to search if anyone had posted any links or reviews of Sat finders. I *think* that maybe out of my price range though. Just an educated guess..

€2000 is a lot of dosh but cheaper than the televes spectrum analyser i was considering. Might just get one. Who sells promax in Ireland?
Used to have an old promax aerial field strength meter. That worked well till it fell off a roof!

Ooh, that's a tasty Promax, Tony! Damn, I wish the boss had went for that one instead of the big Promax with CRT instead of LCD!

We got our Promax from McGrath Electronics (Offaly I think). Dunno his number off hand though.

I also ordered one today from Alban. They told me 3 weeks delivery. Demand is huge, apparently.

How much you looking? I suppose trading isn't allowed in here, though I know a few people who just might be interested.

I'll get back to you if I know of someone interested.

I'd still choose the trusted Promax name over Swires to be honest.

But, that's mainly because I'm very familiar with Promax and it's reliable gear (need to be at the prices!). Another trusty make is Rover meters and Kathrein-Grundig had fine meters back in their day.

Had an email from Unaohm the other day to say they have dropped the price on the EP2500 ( direct competition to the promax) to £1500+vat.
Looks like the promax has them worried.
