Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, i have a 09 ford focus 1.4 petrol with 92,000 km done. The past 2 days luckily when driving slowly my car just goes into a limp mode and engine malfunction appears on the display unit. I just pulled over, no other fault lights come on then i just turn off ignition and turn it back on and everything is ok again. i have it serviced regularly and car is in good condition. Anyone else seen this problem before? Any feedback greatly appreciated

First you need to get it scanned. A code will have been stored. It can only be a wild guess without doing this.

Will do but i have a feeling that unless the fault happens while im at the garage theyll plug in their computer and no fault will show up.

Codes would be retained as historic codes, unless they were wiped.

Post the county you're in here.

Someone here should be able to help you with getting the ECU scanned and codes read.

So good news. Brought it to garage yesterday and apparently the throttle body sensor is faulty. Getting it fixed friday and its not too pricey. Hopefully that will sort it out. Thanks to all for replying
