    3 Bed semi-d in Dublin.
Building Extension into our West Facing garden (actually WSW)
A-pitched roof with 19 degree pitch.
    Extension is 5.8 m x 6 m.

Trying to figure out best configuration for Velux windows.
    Planning 4 of them:
    - 3 on S facing pitched roof
Evenly spaced throughout 6 m extension
    - 1 on N facing pitch roof
Placed closest to existing house, in line with first one of the 3 on S facing pitch roof

    Is this the optimum configuration?
Want to ensure maximum light into existing part of house, as well as to the extension.

Go for symattry as a priority - balance the opening / solid plane of your ceiling.

In thruth your windows will face neither north nor south - but the sky.
