Tesco have an advertorial on their website comparing the cost of their own brand products versus that of branded products. It is called 'Switch and Save'.
    http://www.tesco.ie/switchandsave/default3.html

It is updated weekly, but looking at it when updated Nov 1st, a number of the products have the wrong prices - the correct instore price in brackets:
    Tesco Vitamin E Facial Wipes 25 €0.89 (€1.05)
    Tesco Shaving Foam Sensitive 250ml €0.49 (€1.19)
    Tesco Shaving Gel Sensitive 200ml €0.87 (€1.40)
Tesco Shaving Gel Regular 200ml €0.79 (unavailable)
Tesco KX Stimulation Drink 250 ml €0.19 (€0.89)

Do I have grounds to complain for false advertising?

Imo, No, simply because of this statement right there on the same webpage (the bold bit in particular).
Tesco update this list every Thursday. We guarantee these savings across all our stores - except Tesco Express - on that day. Prices may change on some products in between updates.

I observed that disclaimer. I came across it as I was looking for reviews on shaving foam and I'm aware that Tesco shaving foam (except the Value one) has not been below €1.00 for over a year now. The KX drink has never been close to 19c a can.

Do you have a screen shot of the wrong prices?

List has been 'updated' on 8 November. All prices including the incorrect ones are the same. http://www.tesco.ie/switchandsave/default3.html

The prices are a "invitation to treat" they advertise a price you offer to pay that price it can be accepted or rejected the shop is under no obligation to accept it

Where in the act is that set down?

No its not. Even if it was (its basic contract law) false advertising is something completely different.

So I've written to them a few times now and they are "addressing the issue".
Yet, they've renewed the advertorial weekly with the same incorrect prices 'Last updated on 22nd November 2012'.
Other prices do change correctly, such as Kelloggs cereal which was €3.49, now €1.74 http://www.tesco.ie/switchandsave/default3.html

Time for a complaint to the self-regulatory advertising standards body I should think.
