If finding it hard to find any solid evidence online as there always seems to be an angle to sell it.

Have a look at the links below. I think consensus is that there's no strong evidence supporting their use, but some spotty bits and pieces that have said that it might. The lack of significant adverse effects means it may be worth a short term trial in patients who understand the lack of evidence.

So it would be safe to say there is no harm in taking it, but it or may not be helping your joints.

What I can't seem to find. Is it any good in preventing rather than curing OA. Or help with injury prevention for a cyclist or runner by providing joints with what they need. The sales pitch would suggest it does.
