    Has anyone views on the new meteor prepay plans.

    meteor.ie/pay-as-you-go/simply-unlimited/

    My dad only uses his phone for chat - would he be better off to switch to meteor?

    Don't you just hate the small print. From the website...

    "Is 7.5GB unlimited?
    7.5GB is equal to downloading half the series of Modern Family. A normal heavy user would only use about 3.5GB a month! With the majority of our users using well below the 7.5GB, we reckon it’s Unlimited!"

    If your Dad doesn't need data then ya this is a good deal.

    I hate this smart-arsed 'humour' which they always wheel out.
    I use 7-9+ GB if data per month and I don't even use Spotify or Netflix.

    So, yeah, it's not good if you need data.

    Make a complaint to the advertising authority, its the only chance to get it changed. Complain about everyone else that does it too.

    My dad only makes calls.

    He is with Vodafone PAYG.

    Would the Meteor or Tesco deal be better?

    I Surpose meteor would be better. He never uses data or texts.
