Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Carragher getting a lot of stick for that goal.It fell at Aggers feet and he should have put his foot through it,unless Carragher called for it I wouldn't be so quick to blame him.

Yeah. Much as people won't like to hear it, after seeing it again , its agger that messes up in the first place. It drops on front of him and he should have pulled on it.

Downing is about as dangerous as a paper cut.

[edit] Don't see how people are blaming Agger. He left it because Carragher was in a much much better position to clear the ball. The ball was in front of Carragher and behind Agger.

Why isn't Enrique playing? he has been consistent throughout the season. Definitely one of our if not our best buys.

Jesus why didn't one of them take charge there

Amazing reactions here: team goes down one goal due to defensive error and now all the players and manager are crap!

Let's see how they react, Liverpool still look the better side to me!
Everton look pretty comfortable to me.

As opposed to how class hes been all season? He's been atrocious all season.

Looks like Suarez has decided its a day for whinging rather than playing

Enrique hasn't been in the best form for a good while. He doesn't look as fresh as he did at the start of the season, he seems particularly knackered.

But the main problem is that he offers nothing in the final third but overhit crosses, and while Agger has misplaced a few already, he has the ability.

A card for Distin,Suarez will make his game awkward now for sure.

Agger having a mare so far, keeps giving the ball away and looking unusually shaky in possession. Not to mention his part in the goal. Needs to move back inside to centre half.
Carra off for Enrique at half time for me.

Just keep plugging away and Gibson will return Carra's favour.

It's ridiculous to play our best centre back at left back anyway.

How i'd long for Ian Rush to come on and knock over one of those cameras as the ball hits the net!! He could still do a job in this team!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,348 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Carroll's movement, running and general play has been great. If someone could send an even half decent ball in his general direction it might help though.

Jesus Spearing is so far out of place it is crazy

There's a distinct lack of leadership within the pool ranks.

No, people are furious that Carra is playing. He's well past it and should be dropped. It's upset the balance. Agger is useless at LB.
Downing has been atrocious so far.

Too right! How some of these guys get rewarded with a FA cup semi final appearance (after the season they've had) is beyond me.

Shelvey and Maxi should be automatic starters.

What is the point of Stewart Downing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Look at spearing when he gets the ball , nobody is moving for him. They all seem happy to stand where they are, get the ball and shift it on. No one taking responsibility

Carragher for the scrapheap, he's well past it.

    Come on Everton!

We can't keep giving frees in that area like that with Baines on the pitch!!

Because Carra hesitated the first time. I think. I'm more pissed off that Carra was on the pitch in the first place. He doesn't have a great understanding with either Skrtel or Agger. And those sorts of mixups would be less common with an Agger Skrtel pairing in Central defense.

Look, I am finding myself agreeing in full with The Chessplayer. Something is CLEARLY amiss.

It's like Kenny wants to give the opposition a head start in lots of matches and we have to make two subs just to correct the team selection mistakes and we miss out on the possibility of using those subs properly later in the game.

Why is agger on the right side of the defence your left full for Christ sake

Liverpool's three local lads are hopeless today. So much for it meaning more to them.

Can't you read? It's all carras fault.

I'm surprised he doesn't get the blame for Carroll not scoring more

The point is that Agger is a shadow of the player he typically is anytime Carra is playing alongside him.

Thought it was just me agreeing with him. He seems to have a point about Gerrard/Carra.

Carra should be left to early round cup games next season and Gerrard has done nothing on the pitch today.
