Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Applecare protection

    Hi

    I'm considering buying a MCP 15' some time early next year.

    Due to the high cost I feel it might be worthwhile buying the applcare protection (for peace of mind, I'd be sick if something happened outside of warranty after 2k+)

    I'm also conscious that the applecare is fairly pricey at 350!

    Has anyone managed to get it thrown in for free or at a reduced rate?

    I doubt it - apple prices are pretty standard across the board. They never seem to get discounted. I believe you have a year to buy it after you purchase the computer if you dont want to splash out all at once.
