Old UPC hd box

Can any one tell me what the older he boxes are like and link up the specs or a video of them in use Had enough of this piece of crap horizon box I came from sky and had no experience of the older hd box and am considering requesting one

The old HD box can only record one channel at a time. This I don't miss, always getting overlap warnings.

I always had problems with the menu being slow on the old one. One of the reasons I don't find the horizon lag too bad.
