Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone cast any light on this intriguing comment from Michael McDowell reported by RTE:
Earlier, the Minister for Justice, Michael McDowell accused the men (Adams, McGuinness and Ferris) of being members of the council while taking part in a radio debate on Today FM.

He said there were seven members of the council and that the IRA was increasingly trying to get involved in legitimate businesses, especially the communications industry.

What are they doing? Buying shares in O2 and Vodafone.....?

Look, somebody has to do it, right?

They've been involved in Eircom for years vinnyfitz. It's not exactly a secret that it's being run by criminals...

Wasn't there some controversy about an internet provider that was allegedly owned by people with strong republican connections? Got bought up by one of the major telcoc.

Some of these groups have a penchant for pulling down local mobile phone masts. Would that be an involvement in the communications industry??

I did hera an advert for the Daily News paper on the radio. Apparently, you can subscribe by dialling a number that ends in 1916!!!!
