all our faves incl. Bella and Edward headed to a tv near you! :D

    ^ Eh, or not:
Potential avenues include a “TV show or film spin-off, merely set in the same world as the one in the movies but not featuring the main trio,” according to the site’s sources.

With Bella, Edward and Jacob out of the picture, on whom would such a project focus?

We don't get paid nearly enough for that..

.. if it's getting closer to the air-date - simply pop in a recent promo, your thoughts and possibly a brief synopsis into a new thread.

EDIT: That's not starting til January.. let's leave it another month or so. It'll just end up getting buried otherwise.

Deadline is reporting that Skyfall director Sam Mendes and screenwriter John Logan are teaming up again for a TV vampire hunter drama.

The site says that the project "is described as an origin story set in the 1800s London in the vein of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (pictured left), which also was set in 19th century Europe, including London, and featured an assortment of fictional literary characters. The Logan/Mendes project features such characters as Van Helsing and Doctor Frankenstein as they hunt for vampires."

If the pilot moves forward, Logan would write the script with Mendes attached to produce and possibly direct. The show has reportedly been sent the to premium cable networks.

Pan Am alum Michael Mosley and Modern Family recurring
player Kevin Daniels have been cast in Denis Leary's half-hour comedy pilot for
    USA, the network announced Thursday.

Sirens follows three of Chicago's top EMTs whose
occasionally self-loathing, sometimes narcissistic and constantly
self-destructive personalities make them poor choices for relationships,
friendships and most careers. However, they are great at saving
    lives.

Mosley will star as Johnny, an attractive, sports-loving
EMT who works with his best friend Hank (Daniels). The Vow's Jessica McNamee
will play Theresa, a gorgeous and intelligent Chicago cop who still holds a
candle for her ex, Johnny, but had to move on when he couldn't commit. Rounding
out the cast is Kevin Bigley (Game Change), a wide-eyed and enthusiastic new EMT
who still lives at home with his parents and is willing to take on whatever
tasks Jonny and Hank give him.

Leary will co-write with Bob Fisher (Wedding Crashers)
and both will executive-produce the project with Rescue Me's Jim Serpico, Hal
Vogel and David Aukin. Victor Nelli (Happy Endings) will also executive-produce
and direct the pilot, set to shoot in Chicago later this month.

Sirens marks one of USA's first half-hour
    projects.

'Weekly Wipe with Charlie Brooker' is scheduled for a six episode run on BBC2 in 2013. It sounds like a mix of his previous Screenwipe, Gameswipe and Newswipe shows, but with guests. He also has an hour long '2012 Wipe' planned, similar to his 2010 and 2011 Specials

    http://www.comedy.co.uk/news/story/00000962/charlie_brooker_bbc_two_weekly_wipe/
In the new series, Brooker will turn his unique critical eye across current affairs and media, taking in the past week of politics and news events, computer games and advertising, books, films and celebrity.

Producers say: "Each programme will include a sprinkle of studio chat, sketches, VTs and amusing archive. Charlie will be joined in the studio by a couple of celebrity guests and experts for a topical discussion with a difference."

    http://www.deadline.com/2012/06/hbo-orders-charles-randolph-cold-war-spy-drama-pilot-aaron-paul-in-talks-to-star/

HBO has given a pilot order to Cold War spy drama The Missionary. Emmy-winning Breaking Bad co-star Aaron Paul is in talks for the lead in the project, from film/TV writer Charles Randolph (The Interpreter) and producer Stephen Levinson as well as best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell and frequent Levinson collaborator Mark Wahlberg.

Set in Berlin in the late 1960s, The Missionary, written by Randolph, centers on a young American missionary (Paul) who becomes involved with the CIA. Randolph and New Yorker writer Gladwell, who are friends, had been working on an idea for a spy project when they met with Levinson and Wahlberg, who also had been looking to do a spy drama. The four joined forces and last fall took the project to HBO, where Levinson and Wahlberg have produced four series: Boardwalk Empire, Entourage, In Treatment and How To Make It In America. Randolph, Levinson, Gladwell and Wahlberg executive produce The Missionary, which HBO is producing in association with Levinson’s Leverage and Wahlberg’s Closest to the Hole Prods. The Missionary is the second Cold War-era cable spy drama pilot ordered this year, along with FX’s The Americans, about undercover KGB spies in the U.S. played by Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys. At HBO, it joins another period drama, Prohibition mob series Boardwalk Empire, also executive produced by Levinson and Wahlberg.

The Missionary would mark Paul’s followup to his breakout role opposite Bryan Cranston on the dark AMC drama Breaking Bad, which has earned him three Emmy nominations and a win. The series will end its run with a two-part, 16-episode fifth season that premieres July 15. Missionary also would mark Paul’s return to HBO, where he recurred on Big Love. On the big screen, the UTA-repped actor starred in this year’s Sundance entry Smashed.

Jesse Plemons has joined HBO pilot The
    Missionary.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter star Benjamin Walker will play
the title role in the drama, which follows a US missionary who becomes caught up
in a Cold War crisis in East Berlin.

Think Aaron Paul will try and do more movies now that BB is finishing and his recent Emmy success

Series Is from Award-winning Creator of “Luther,” Neil Cross, and Acclaimed Film Producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald (“Gladiator,” “Men in Black,” “The Ring”)

NEW YORK CITY -- May 14, 2012 -- From the award-winning creator of “Luther,” Neil Cross, and successful producing team of Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald (“Gladiator,” “Men in Black,” “The Ring”) comes an extraordinary action-adventure series “Crossbones” -- with an unexpected moral center where one can't be sure whether the pirates or the British crown are the villains.

Ten episodes of “Crossbones” have been ordered and production will begin in the fall.

The announcement was made today by Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment.

It’s 1715 on the Bahamian island of New Providence, the first functioning democracy in the Americas, where the diabolical pirate Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, reigns over a rogue nation of thieves, outlaws and miscreant sailors. Part shantytown, part marauder’s paradise, this is a place like no other on earth – and a mounting threat to international commerce.

To gain control of this fearsome society, Tom Lowe, a highly skilled undercover assassin, is sent to the pirates’ haven to take down the brilliant and charismatic Blackbeard. But The Closer Lowe gets, the more he finds that his quest is not so simple. Lowe can’t help but admire the political ideals of Blackbeard, whose thirst for knowledge knows no bounds – and no law. But Lowe is not the only danger to Blackbeard’s rule. He is a man with many villainous rivals and one great weakness – a passionately driven woman whom he cannot deny.

Parkes and MacDonald serve as executive producers. Cross will write and also executive-produce the series. Ted Gold (“Three Rivers”) also is an executive producer. The series will be produced by Parkes/MacDonald Productions; Georgeville Television (GVTV), Reliance Entertainment/Motion Picture Capital's new TV Studio; and Universal Television.

Hugh Laurie in talks for the lead role

    was always an enjoyable film

I'd happily watch that. The film gets a lot of unfair criticism and is wrongly held up as a flop.while not a massive success it fir make its budget back and more. Wonder if the series will follow Reynolds plans for an action extravaganza or Costner's idea that it should have explored his character and the loneliness he felt.

Now confirmed to be in development - a 'Boy Meets World' sequel series with Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga) confirmed to return!
Boy Meets World fans, meet the best news you’ll hear all day. TVLine has learned exclusively that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have officially signed on to reprise their roles as Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence in the red-hot Disney Channel pilot Girl Meets World.

The potential sequel series (which TVLine first told you about earlier this month) picks up more than a decade after Boy Meets World ended its ABC run and finds Cory and Topanga happily married and raising their 13-year-old daughter, Riley (from whose point of view the story is told).

The pilot is still in the very early stages of development with Boy Meets World creator and executive producer Michael Jacobs at the helm.

Used to absolutely love this show when I was younger - but the real comedic stars were Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) who I haven't seen since 'Cabin Fever' and Will Friedle (Eric Matthews) who I haven't seen since.. well, Boy Meets World.

Definitely one of the best written shows aimed primarily at a young audience when I was growing up..

    them.

“Boy Meets World was a defining aspect of my life, and I cherish those seven
years,” he said in a statement. “So I am extremely happy for Ben and Danielle to
be able to continue the story. At this point, I have no official involvement in
    Girl Meets World.”

After having the gals covered next summer with soap Mistresses, ABC also is setting up a show for the guys. The network has given a 13-episode straight-to-series order to mystery supernatural/UFO drama Weird Desk for summer 2013. The show hails from Christina Jennings’ Canadian production company Shaftesbury, which has a U.S. division.

Written by Carl Binder (Stargate) and David Titcher (The Librarian), Weird Desk is in the vein of The X Files. Based on the alleged real-life mysteries from this world and beyond, it centers on the workings of a clandestine organization rumored to be named “Weird Desk.” Working above the levels of top secret and above the office of the President, the unit is the destination for mysterious intelligence rerouted from the CIA and NSA. Tasked with investigating and solving occurrences of the paranormal, supernatural and sometimes extra-terrestrial, “Weird Desk” is led by Morgan, an obstinate, socially inept and brilliant man who would now be dead if it weren’t for his special forces trained partner, Rosetta. Produced by Shaftesbury and distributed by ABC Studios, Weird Desk is executive produced by Shaftesbury US co-heads Tom Mazza and Maggie Murphy.

HBO have green lit a pilot from "Beavis and Buttheads" Mike Judge, called Silicon Valley, based in the region named,

it would be interesting if they done this like back when it really started to take off, following multiple people from multiple companies and showing how well or ill equipped they were for the success that they achieved, it say it will show something like that, but it doesn't say if its gonna be based now or 20-30 years ago,

anyway, sounds like a good idea:),
